RM of BTS has released the music video for "Groin," a track from his new album "Right Place, Wrong Person," which was released on Friday. This album is RM's first since his solo debut "Indigo" in December 2022. The album was completed prior to RM starting his mandatory military service in December last year.

The song "Groin" is an alternative hip-hop track where RM addresses his thoughts on those who dislike him. In the music video, RM is seen with a short haircut, wearing a dark navy tracksuit. His rapping style is showcased in a relaxed yet intense manner. The video, filmed on the streets of London on a cloudy day, focuses on RM's charisma, gestures, and expressions without using flashy special effects.

The music video was directed by Japanese director Pennacky, who also directed the 2022 music video for "Sexy Nukim" by South Korean music crew Balming Tiger, in which RM was featured. According to Big Hit Music, Pennacky aimed to capture RM's natural essence by having conversations with RM and the production team during filming, rather than following a detailed synopsis.

Upon its release, "Right Place, Wrong Person" topped both the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and the European iTunes Album Chart.
