Ahn Bo-hyun Stars as Wealthy Heir Turned Detective in SBS Series "Flex X Cop"

Comedy-Action Series Premiering on Jan. 26 Features Ahn Bo-hyun as Jin Yi-soo, a Third-Generation Chaebol Member Transitioning from a Life of Luxury to Detective Work

Actor Ahn Bo-hyun takes on the role of Jin Yi-soo, a wealthy heir living a life of luxury, in the upcoming SBS series "Flex X Cop." Scheduled to premiere on Jan. 26, the comedy-action series centers around Jin, a third-generation chaebol owner, who finds himself entangled in a criminal case. To navigate the situation, he joins a violent crime investigation team as a detective, partnering with the dedicated team leader Lee Gang-hyun, portrayed by Park Ji-hyun.

Directed by Kim Jae-hong, co-director of the 2023 mystery series "Revenant," and scripted by Kim Ba-da, the writer of the 2021 Netflix series "My Name," the series marks Ahn's reunion with the scriptwriter since their collaboration on "My Name."

In the storyline, Jin discovers a new sense of purpose as a detective, moving away from his previously carefree lifestyle. Ahn emphasizes Jin's bright spirit, describing the character as charming and filled with cathartic elements, providing viewers with a delightful sense of humor.

This marks the second collaboration between Ahn and Park, following their roles in the romantic comedy "Yumi's Cells," where they played friends. Ahn expresses comfort and positive energy working with Park, noting her bright personality and diligence.

"Flex X Cop" is scheduled to air on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m., promising a unique chemistry between the lead actors and an entertaining blend of comedy and action.
