Kim Jun-myeon, popularly known as Suho from the renowned K-pop boy group EXO, is set to make his much-anticipated return to the small screen in JTBC's upcoming comedy detective series, "Behind Your Touch." The talented singer and actor will star alongside esteemed actors Han Ji-min and Lee Min-ki in this highly anticipated production.
After a five-year hiatus from television since his lead role in the 2018 romance series "Rich Man," Suho is poised to captivate audiences once again. "Behind Your Touch" is scheduled to premiere on August 12 and revolves around a tranquil countryside town. The story follows the journey of Bong Ye-boon (Han Ji-min), a curious veterinarian who unexpectedly acquires the ability to see the past of both animals and people. Utilizing her newfound talent, she teams up with Moon Jang-yeol (Lee Min-ki), a detective from Seoul. Together, they embark on a quest to solve a series of minor crimes, only to find themselves entangled in a gripping serial murder case.
Director Kim Suk-yoon, acclaimed for his work on the 2022 melodrama "My Liberation Notes," reunites with scriptwriter Lee Nam-kyu after a four-year hiatus since their collaboration on the 2019 series "The Light in Your Eyes." This dynamic duo is set to create another compelling narrative filled with humor, mystery, and unexpected twists.
In "Behind Your Touch," Suho takes on the role of Kim Sun-woo, a newcomer to the town who finds employment at a local convenience store. With his infectious smile and impeccable manners, Kim Sun-woo quickly captures the attention of Bong Ye-boon. However, an air of mystery surrounds his character, adding depth to the intriguing storyline.
