NCT DREAM will present the first full performance of its new single “Boogie Woogie” at an album showcase in Seoul on Nov. 12.
The group will hold The Harvest Day – DREAM AFTER DREAM at Cube Convention Center in Mapo District at 8 p.m. The event will also be streamed live through NCT DREAM’s YouTube, Weverse and TikTok channels.
“Boogie Woogie” is the lead single from NCT DREAM’s sixth studio album, DREAM AFTER DREAM. The uptempo dance track combines 1970s disco-funk rhythms with contemporary synthesizer sounds.
The lyrics look back on the group’s first 10 years and express gratitude for the members’ time together. Jaemin participated in writing the lyrics.
Dancer and choreographer Leejung Lee contributed to the performance. She previously worked with NCT DREAM on the choreography for “CHILLER.”
The choreography centres on a chorus movement in which the members swing their fists from side to side. The latter part of the performance includes a section where the members move individually to the rhythm before forming a single line and travelling across the stage in a train-like formation.
The showcase takes its title from the idea of harvesting the dreams NCT DREAM has developed during the past decade. The event will include objects associated with the new album and props referring to earlier periods in the group’s career.
DREAM AFTER DREAM contains 10 tracks and will be released on global music platforms at 6 p.m. on Nov. 9. The physical album will be issued on the same day.
