-You are holding a solo exhibition with the theme of 'Place, Stack, and Bind.'
What is the concept of this exhibition?
-The concept of this exhibition is 'Place, Stack, and Bind'.
and there is always this kind of relationship with humans.
I made art on that subject.
-Let's take a look at SON's work, which sublimated human relations into a work of art.
-In this work process, after cutting an aluminum plate with a laser,
a suit cloth is put on it, and a picture is drawn on it
with an airbrush, colored pencil, or a brush.
This work is my self-portrait.
-In order to express myself most objectively,
I did a realistic work at first. However,
no matter how realistic the expression was,
there was no difference from the previous work.
So I started drawing on the cloth for my suit.

Is it a ribbon series?
-These are the main works of this exhibition.
At first, the name of the work was 'Place', then 'Stack', and later, 'Place, Stack and Bind'.
-In Spanish weddings, there is a custom in which a woman and a man hold hands and tie a ribbon to bond.
This work was created with the meaning of such a ribbon.
I reprocessed the sculpture and worked on the actual silk fabric.
-Another installation sculpture is here. What meaning did you put into this work?
-This work was also created while experimenting with drawing shadows on fabric.
If you shoot a strong UV LED on top of a fluorescent material, a trace of this light will remain.
-When you watch a Dracula movie, Dracula cannot enter the circle.
The title of this work was inspired by the film. The title of the work is "It's Safe in the Circle"
This work contains the meaning of a man and a woman meeting
and dreaming of the same dream and living together.
The empty space here means that they will fill in here and live.
-I've looked around SON's works so far.
Artist SON's works are saying that there are various meanings
in the process of building and tying human relationships.
-Now, finally, while explaining your work, please tell the viewers what you want to say.
-We may feel that society is continuing to develop and things are getting better,
but there are a lot of very difficult people around us.
I hope that all the viewers will always have an interest in such things.
I will prepare a meaningful exhibition that contains such a story.
-All of these works have no face part. Therefore,
it is fun to create various relationships that are connected to the work through imagination.
I think this exhibition is very special.
