Seventeen, the 13-member K-pop group, has broken a new first-week sales record by selling over 4.62 million copies of their 11th EP in just four days, as confirmed by a local sales tally on Friday.
This remarkable achievement surpasses Stray Kids' "Five-Star," which previously held the record with 4.61 million in sales, and it also dethrones Seventeen's own previous EP, "FML," which had sold over 4.55 million copies in its first week. "FML" retains its own distinct record as the first album in K-pop history to surpass 3 million units sold on the day of its release.

In a separate development, Minkyu will be taking a temporary hiatus, as announced by the group's agency, Pledis Entertainment, on Friday.
