Netflix Announces Release Date for "A Killer Paradox" Starring Choi Woo-shik and Son Suk-ku

Thriller Series Based on Webtoon to Premiere on February 9

Netflix confirms that the original web series "A Killer Paradox," featuring actors Choi Woo-shik and Son Suk-ku, is set to be released on February 9. The thriller, adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kkomabi, explores the narrative of a man unintentionally turned serial killer and the detective determined to apprehend him.

Choi Woo-shik takes on the role of Lee Tang, a university student who discovers his ability to identify evil individuals after accidentally killing a serial murderer. Son Suk-ku portrays Detective Jang Nan-gam, who, driven by intuition, instinct, and determination, investigates Lee Tang's case, ultimately grappling with moral dilemmas surrounding crime and punishment.

Lee Hee-jun joins the cast as Song Chon, a former detective who initiates his own inquiry into the slayings. Directed by Lee Chang-hee, known for his work on the film "The Vanished" (2018) and OCN's thriller series "Hell Is Other People" (2019), the series is penned by screenwriter Kim Da-min.

The original webtoon, serialized from July to September 2010, received recognition at the Korea Content Awards in 2011.
