On Spotify, V of BTS achieved a significant milestone as his solo album titled "Layover" surpassed 500 million streams within a remarkable span of 33 days, establishing a new record for a K-pop solo artist. The album garnered the highest number of plays on its release day among albums launched this year. Simultaneously, fellow BTS member Jungkook also made waves on Spotify, accumulating an impressive total of 2.5 billion streams. Remarkably, this achievement was realized in the shortest time for a K-pop solo artist. Jungkook's accomplishment comes from a collection of seven individual songs, including solo singles "Seven" and "3D," a collaboration with Charlie Puth titled "Left and Right," an official soundtrack for the 2022 Qatar World Cup titled "Dreamers," an original soundtrack song for the webtoon "Stay Alive," and self-written tracks "Still With You" and "My You."
