Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Collaborates with Kocca for Inclusive Showcase at K-Culture Museum

A new exhibition titled "Colorful" commenced at the K-Culture Museum in Gyeongbokgung Station, subway line No. 3, in central Seoul on Friday. Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Korea Creative Content Agency (Kocca), the showcase highlights media art created by artists with disabilities.

The exhibition features four media artworks, including two pieces by artists from the Korea Disability Arts & Culture Center. Artist Kwon Han-sol's "Ponyo's Travel" and Park Hye-sin's "The Flower's Memory" transform original paintings into dynamic media art, adding dimension and vibrancy to the creations. Local media art group Prome contributes "The Guardian's Invitation" and "The World Beyond."

Kocca President Jo Hyun-rae expressed hopes that the exhibition would provide an encouraging platform for emerging artists and those with disabilities, fostering positive aspirations and offering visitors a unique experience. The event aligns with the goal of promoting collaborations among artists at K-Culture Square in the future, breaking down barriers between individuals with and without disabilities.

"Colorful" is scheduled to run until December 3, with the K-Culture Museum open every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission to the exhibit is free for all attendees.
