The “Woodstock Festival,” a legendary American rock festival'll be held in Korea this summer.

SGC Entertainment held a press conference on the morning of the 6th and declared, "We plan to hold 'Woodstock Music & Art Fair 2023' under the theme of 'Freedom, Peace, Love' for three days from July 28 to 30 this year."

This “Woodstock Festival” is the first event to be held in a country other than the United States after signing an official copyright contract.

The official name of Woodstock is “Woodstock Music & Art Fair. The first Woodstock” was held in New York, USA for four days from August 15 to 18, 1969. This event attracted 400,000 spectators at the time and became the beginning of a rock festival around the world. In particular, this festival was the peak of hippie culture that swept the world in the late 1960s.

At the time, Woodstock faced difficulties in selecting a performance venue due to residents' opposition and government regulations, and was in danger of failing to perform, but “Max Yasger” provided his huge farm and was able to hold it.

Since it was not originally made as a performance hall, this performance hall was not properly equipped with sound facilities, toilets, or water supply facilities. In particular, the heavy rain that fell during the festival turned the area around the concert hall into a huge mud pit. However, it is said that the hippies enjoyed the festival to the fullest by taking a shower in the heavy rain and swimming in a puddle at that time.

Finally, Woodstock recorded a huge loss of 1.3 million dollars, but after that, it was recorded as a festival that achieved great success by creating huge profits with the copyright of related videos.

Woodstock described it as "In August 1969, the Woodstock Music & Art Fair took place on a dairy farm in Bethel, NY. Over half a million people came to a 600-acre farm to hear 32 acts (leading and emerging performers of the time) play over the course of four days (August 15-18). Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, the Who, Janis Joplin and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young were among the line-up. Woodstock is known as one of the greatest happenings of all time and –perhaps- the most pivotal moment in music history."
