South Korean interim coach Hwang Sun-hong emphasized the importance of improving his team's performance ahead of their World Cup qualifying match against Thailand. Captain Son Heung-min scored for South Korea in the previous encounter, with goalkeeper Jo Hyeon-woo making crucial saves. Hwang, who assumed the role of caretaker boss following the dismissal of Jurgen Klinsmann, remains optimistic about his team's ability to overcome challenges, including playing in front of a potentially hostile crowd in humid conditions.
