Hino is a Japanese contemporary painter who was born in Ishikawa in 1976. He is well-known for drawing portraits of figures who create a bizarre atmosphere by striking unbalanced poses in a semi-face.
The bizarre portraits in his paintings are the result of capturing and reflecting the precarious aspects of Japanese society, reflecting our self-portraits of living in modern society like mirrors. The exaggeratedly wide-eyed, surprised-looking figures in his paintings represent our appearance in modern society.

He has continued to create works that visually express the formula of invisible human beings, and in particular, this exhibition displays both painting and drawing works that the artist has drawn so far.
Before painting the work, the artist uses himself as a model, poses with a wig, and then completes the picture by looking at it. He takes a deliberate pose that considers the composition rather than a natural pose, resulting in a dynamic composition and an intense image.

Kenji Kubota, SNOW Contemporary Director, explained his work, "His works, which seem to depict the state of being on the verge of falling into a frenzy, are both mesmerizing and mesmerizing by strongly shaking the viewer's deep mental parts at the same time."
The exhibition will be held until Feb. 20 at the Keumsan Gallery in Jung-gu, Seoul.
