YG Entertainment's latest K-pop sensation, Babymonster, is gearing up for the release of their debut EP, "Babymons7er," scheduled to drop on April 1st. The EP, spearheaded by the lead track "Sheesh," was unveiled by YG founder Yang Hyun-suk via the agency's official YouTube channel.

Described as a departure from their previous bright and innocent concept seen in their single "Batter Up," "Sheesh" presents a darker theme with a powerful hook that promises to captivate listeners. Yang Hyun-suk emphasized the track's catchy choreography, hinting at its potential to become a fan favorite.

Adding to the excitement, the EP includes "Like That," a side track produced by acclaimed American pop star Charlie Puth, whom both the group and Yang admire. This collaboration is anticipated to further elevate Babymonster's appeal.

Among the other tracks featured on the EP are "Monsters," which highlights the group's ambitions for international expansion, alongside alternate versions of their previous hits, "Stuck in the Middle" and "Batter Up."

Babymonster will be promoting the EP as a septet, with member Ahyeon making a triumphant return following a period of health-related hiatus. Ahyeon, originally intended to debut with the group last November, was sidelined due to health issues but is now fully recovered, marking her official inclusion in the lineup.

Yang Hyun-suk expressed optimism about the group's prospects, noting Ahyeon's popularity prior to her debut and the potential for increased fan support with Babymonster's expanded lineup. The group's official debut is set for April 1st, coinciding with the EP's release date.
