K-pop sensation Le Sserafim is set to captivate fans in Japan once again as they prepare to release their highly anticipated second single, "Unforgiven," on August 23, according to an announcement made by their agency, Source Music, on Tuesday.
The single will comprise three captivating tracks: the title track, featuring the renowned Nile Rodgers, who also lent his talent to their first studio album released last month; a Japanese-language rendition of "Antifragile," the lead track from their second EP in October; and an exciting collaboration with a Japanese artist.
Le Sserafim's debut LP, which topped various music charts in Japan, including Oricon's weekly album, weekly digital album, and weekly combined rankings, has achieved remarkable success. Earlier this month, it received gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for surpassing 100,000 shipments to date.
The quintet made their mark in Japan with their debut single, "Fearless," released in January. The track shattered the first-week sales record for a K-pop girl group in Japan, selling over 222,000 copies. Their achievement did not go unnoticed, as the single was awarded double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for exceeding 500,000 shipments.
