Jungkook, a member of the renowned K-pop group BTS, continues to break records as a solo artist with his latest album, "Golden."

On Spotify, the 11-song album achieved a remarkable milestone, accumulating 39,653,740 streams in total on its release day, setting a new record for the highest first-day stream count by a K-pop solo artist's album on the platform.

Jungkook's songs from the album dominated Spotify's Daily Top Song Global chart, with his pre-released track "Seven" claiming the top spot, while the album's title track, "Standing Next to You," secured second place with 6,472,019 streams. Eight additional songs from the album made their way into the chart's top 30.

Notably, Jungkook has now achieved the most-streamed K-pop album on its first day, both as a solo artist and as part of BTS. The previous record of 47,565,917 streams was set by BTS' ninth-anniversary anthology album, "Proof," last year.

Additionally, Jungkook's "Golden" made a significant impact in Japan, where it reached No. 1 on Oricon's daily album ranking, selling 205,961 copies on its first day. The album's eight songs also secured top positions in the daily digital single ranking, with "Standing Next to You" leading the list.

Upon its release, "Golden" rapidly set new records by selling over two million copies in under five hours, becoming the first K-pop solo artist's album to earn the double million-seller title on its first day. The album also surpassed the previous weekly album sales record for a Korean solo singer within just one day.

Internationally, "Golden" achieved No. 1 on iTunes' Top Albums chart in 77 countries, and its main song, "Standing Next to You," topped the Top Song chart in 71 countries.

Jungkook extended his record-breaking success to Billboard, with three of his songs ranking in the top 10 of the Global 200 (US excl.) chart, making him the first Asian artist to accomplish this feat. "Seven" and "3D" secured the second and seventh positions, respectively, while his collaborative single "Too Much" with The Kid Laroi and Central Cee reached No. 10.

Furthermore, Jungkook tied a record on Billboard's Hot 100 for the most number of hits achieved by a K-pop solo artist, joining the ranks of "Gangnam Style" hitmaker Psy. "Too Much" made its debut at No. 44 on the main singles chart.

On the domestic front, Jungkook's "Standing Next to You" reached No. 4 on Melon's Top 100 list.

Jungkook, the youngest member of the global K-pop phenomenon BTS, embarked on his solo career in July with the release of "Seven."
