It is she who has solved the contemplation of enjoying nature painting with a modern sense. The theme that runs through the works of this artist is "mountains and water". This is partly due to the influence of her specialization in oriental painting, but the fundamental reason is that she likes the ideas of Lao Tzu and Zhang Tzu. Her works, represented by mountains and flowers, project the artist's desire to enjoy a free and selfish life with nature as her friend.

For this artist, mountains and water are objects of aesthetics and objects of worship. For man, nature is an object of beauty and awe.

In addition, her Sanshu has a built-in philosophy. It is a natural philosophy represented by the so-called Laozhuang thought. The image of all living beings living together in harmony with nature is Momogengo, which artist Byun Mi-young pursued through her paintings. To that end, she fused the Oriental view of nature with the figurative nature of folk tales, creating a differentiated world that could not be glimpsed in conventional mountain and water paintings. In particular, the image borrowed from folk tales that incorporates the wishes of the people reflects the aspirations of modern people who thirst for nature, and plays a role in connecting modern people with nature.

The way in which the artist solves the mountain water on the canvas is unique. She created her own unique method of work, fusing woodblock engraving techniques and Western painting with a thirst for new work. She draws on plywood with acrylic paint more than fifteen times, scraping it out with a carving sword after various colors. Painting through "scraping," a type of mindless act. But the work doesn't end here. Apply acrylic paint again on the screen and repeat the wiping dozens of times Inspired by traditional coloring methods, this method of work acts as an element that adds depth to the work. The red color that appears in the work is not a simple red color. The red color, which embraces the blue color and yellow like a spectrum, has a subtle feeling. In addition, the phenomenon of visually dispersed colors induces the imagination of the viewer and leads to a surreal world.

The theme of the artist is to show that modern people have distanced themselves from nature in the midst of industrialization and urbanization, and are finally living a life that has lost nature. The loss of nature is not simply a level of not being able to enjoy mountain water, but also a loss of emotion. It's clear why the artist paints Yamasui. Indeed, he wants to return nature to modern people who have lost nature, even through paintings.

In response, the artist said, "The Mureungdowon, which I want to show through my works, is not a place to escape from life, but a space to rescue heartbreaking reality by alternating reality and ideals. Dreams have the strongest vitality when combined with reality. I explained.

Zhuangzi compared life to a picnic. The Zhuangzi philosophy is that aspiring to '逍遙遊soyoyu' (go on a long journey and swim) is another expression of asking what is the purpose of life is. Zhuangzi says, "Life is an end in itself, so enjoy the journey of life." From this point of view, it can be said that Byung-myon practiced Soyo-yu the firstborn through his own works. She discovers peace and enjoyment (樂), beauty (flowers), and free strolling (play) in the mountains and waters, and sublimates this into an art.

Through his paintings, this artist actively accepts painful reality rather than escapism, and tries to create Momogengo. At the end of the path presented by the writer, the world of healing is entrenched. In the Long-Son Festival Theory, the word (道行之而成) appears. It emphasizes that the path is made by us in the sense that it is completed where we walk.
