Starship Entertainment revealed on Wednesday that Sistar19, a subunit of the now-disbanded group Sistar, is set to make a comeback after 11 years. The duo, consisting of Hyolyn and Bora, was formed in 2011 and gained recognition with the release of their debut single, "Ma Boy." Following that success, they dropped another single, "Gone Not Around Any More," in 2013.

The upcoming single, titled "No More (Ma Boy)," suggests a return to the concept of their debut single. Scheduled for release on Jan. 16, the announcement marks a significant reunion for the subunit.

Sistar disbanded in 2017, leading both Hyolyn and Bora to pursue solo careers. Hyolyn has established herself as a solo singer and producer, recently holding a concert in December. Notably, Bora has ventured into acting, making appearances in several TV dramas. Additionally, she showcased her rap skills by featuring in former bandmate Soyoo’s second solo EP, "Summer Recipe," released in July last year.

The return of Sistar19 signifies a noteworthy reunion for fans, and the announcement has generated anticipation for the duo's musical direction in their upcoming single.
