IVE members An Yu-jin and Jang Won-young will hold their first joint exhibition, “AN-YOUNG IN SEOUL,” at THE SEOULITEUM in Seoul from Sept. 5–27.
The pair unveiled black-and-white silhouette posters through the official IVE Exhibition social media account on Aug. 25. An earlier teaser used a retro telephone and a recording of the Korean greeting “annyeong” to introduce the project.
“AN-YOUNG” combines “An” from An Yu-jin’s name with “Young” from Jang Won-young’s. It also refers to the pair’s nickname, “Annyeongz,” and the Korean word “annyeong,” which can function as a greeting or a question about someone’s well-being.
The exhibition will feature previously unreleased photographs documenting different sides of the two members. Media art and interactive programs designed for audience participation will also form part of the presentation.
Further information about the layout and individual sections will be released through the exhibition’s official social media channels. Timed-entry arrangements and visitor guidelines will be available through the ticketing page.
Tickets will go on sale through Melon Ticket at 8 p.m. KST on Aug. 31.
An and Jang are also participating in IVE’s second world tour, “SHOW WHAT I AM,” which is scheduled to continue with concerts in Hong Kong and Taipei in September.
