Yuhan-Kimberly has announced its upcoming "2024 Our Land, Green and Blue Forest Sleep Contest," scheduled for September 8 at the Olympic Park Picnic Grounds in Seoul. This event, now in its ninth year, aims to offer citizens a unique opportunity to escape the hectic urban life and enjoy restful sleep in nature.

The Forest Sleep Contest has gained significant attention each year, serving as a special opportunity for urban dwellers to relieve stress and fatigue. Particularly in recent times, the issue of "dopamine addiction," driven by excessive consumption of stimulating food and digital media, has become a societal concern. In response, "dopamine detox," which encourages a retreat to nature and a reduction in overstimulation, has emerged as a new trend.

Participants in the competition will sleep for approximately two hours in the forest, with their heart rates monitored to identify the most stable sleeper. The first and second-place winners will receive round-trip tickets to Ulaanbaatar from MIAT Mongolian Airlines, with two tickets awarded to the first-place winner and one to the second-place winner. The third-place winner will receive a ₩100,000 voucher for Zadam Chicken. Additionally, all participants will receive a sleep kit containing various Yuhan-Kimberly products, and the participant with the most unique pajamas will be awarded a ₩200,000 clothing voucher.

The event is not just about sleep; it also includes various healing programs, such as yoga sessions and music performances, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in a restorative natural environment. This holistic experience is expected to help participants reduce stress from urban life and appreciate the therapeutic power of nature.

A representative from Yuhan-Kimberly stated, "The Forest Sleep Contest is a great opportunity for participants to experience the tranquility of the forest and restore their mental and physical health. We plan to continue developing programs that promote the coexistence of nature and humans."
