Choi San has continued his annual participation in the hometown donation program since its introduction. The impact of the donations will become clearer through Namhae County's future community support programs.

ATEEZ member Choi San has once again made a hometown donation to Namhae County, his hometown in South Gyeongsang Province.

On July 14, SayArt confirmed that Choi San, who serves as an honorary ambassador for Namhae County, donated KRW 5 million, the maximum annual amount permitted under South Korea's Hometown Love Donation Program, to mark his birthday.

Since the program began in 2023, Choi San has contributed the annual maximum donation every year. This year's contribution marks his fourth consecutive annual donation.

According to Namhae County, the return gifts provided through the donation program will not be kept for personal use. Instead, Choi San plans to donate them to vulnerable residents within the local community.

Namhae County Mayor Ryu Gyeong-wan said the county would work to ensure that the donor's contribution benefits local residents through community programs.

Choi San continues international activities as a member of K-pop group ATEEZ, which has built a global fan base through international music releases and tours. The group recently returned with the new single "BAD."

Namhae County has continued promoting participation in the Hometown Love Donation Program as part of its regional support initiatives. The broader impact of Choi San's continued contributions is expected to be evaluated through future community projects and funding outcomes.
