K-pop boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE has reached No. 5 on Billboard’s World Albums chart during its debut year.

The group’s second EP, “UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST,” entered the World Albums chart dated Oct. 17 at No. 5. It also ranked No. 20 on the Top Album Sales chart.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, which measures the performance of developing artists across multiple rankings.

The EP was initially released in South Korea on Aug. 24 before receiving its official US release on Oct. 2. It is the group’s first album formally distributed in the American market.

According to the group’s agency, “UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST” achieved the highest position this week among K-pop groups that debuted in 2026 and appeared on the World Albums chart.

The album sold 1.13 million copies in South Korea during its first week of release, giving ALPHA DRIVE ONE two consecutive million-selling records. The group’s cumulative album sales have surpassed 2 million copies.

Ahead of its formal Japanese debut, the group also received a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

“UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST” addresses the growing pains of young people confronted by prejudice and externally imposed labels. Its title track, “BORN DIRE,” combines elements of British rave music and punk.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE will release a music video for follow-up track “Talk to Me” on Oct. 27.

The group debuted on Jan. 12 with its first EP, “EUPHORIA.” It was formed through the Mnet audition program “Boys II Planet,” which aired in 2025.
