The K-pop industry is set for an exciting month of May with new releases from some of the biggest names in the genre, including Enhypen and the debut of a new boy group, Boynextdoor.
Enhypen is set to release its fourth mini album, "Dark Blood," on May 22, ten months after its latest album, "Manifesto: Day 1." The seven-member group, managed by Belift Lab, a subsidiary of K-pop powerhouse Hybe, is expected to showcase a new direction in its music and message with this album. According to Belift Lab, Enhypen will declare its intent to live life on its own terms and encourage the current generation to join its journey.
Meanwhile, Hybe is also set to launch a new boy group, Boynextdoor, on May 30 under its affiliate KOZ Entertainment. As the name suggests, the six-member group aims to present a boy-next-door image and create music with relatable stories for their generation. Boynextdoor is the first K-pop boy group to debut under KOZ Entertainment.
The launches of Enhypen's "Dark Blood" and Boynextdoor's debut highlight the continued growth and expansion of the K-pop industry, both domestically and globally. With each new release, K-pop continues to cement its position as a dominant force in the music industry, captivating fans across the world with its catchy tunes, captivating performances, and diverse range of artists.
