Established in 2012 in the cultural district of 'Bongsan Culture and Art Street' in Daegu, South Korea, Wooson Gallery is a contemporary art space that showcases works of both established and emerging artists. With a newly constructed building specially designed for the presentation of contemporary art, the gallery's principal mission is to introduce significant and paradigmatic artists of our epoch to the Korean art world.
Wooson Gallery strives to promote a new kind of communication between art lovers, professionals such as critics and scholars, and the audience. Through its exhibitions, the gallery aims to establish an authentic contemporary visual culture, contributing to the creation of contemporary collections with a high standard of knowledge of the international art production.
