Piet Mondrian artwork displayed upside down for 75 years

Over the past 75 years, Piet Mondrian's New York City I (1941) has been hung upside down at several institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
However, the painting will continue to be shown upside down in order to avoid disintegration.
