Since its inauguration in 2013, G Gallery has positioned itself as a preeminent contemporary gallery in Korea by discovering promising young Korean and international artists and presenting a diverse array of curated exhibitions. By fostering active communication with artists and a profound passion for sculptural discovery, G Gallery has cultivated a distinctive program that introduces art from multiple disciplines such as painting, video, and installation.
Since 2019, the gallery has conducted "Great Exhibition," a program that supports emerging artists in their twenties and thirties, selecting one artist each year to hold a solo exhibition. Furthermore, by showcasing their works at both domestic and international art fairs, the gallery provides these budding artists with a platform to build diverse connections.
Ultimately, G Gallery, which seeks to broaden the foundation of art, has launched various projects and exhibitions with museums, aiming to break down barriers between the public and art. The gallery will continue to exert efforts to enhance the artistic value of diverse artists and demonstrate the versatility of contemporary art through consistent support for artistic creation and exploratory exhibitions.
