In a collaborative effort with the fan club of J-hope, a member of the renowned K-pop group BTS, the Seoul city government has established a garden named the "J-Hope Forest" within the scenic surroundings of Seoul Forest Park. Spanning an area of 213 square feet, this garden holds special significance for the singer, who has expressed his fondness for this location.
The J-Hope Forest is adorned with more than 18 different varieties of herbaceous flowers and trees, providing visitors with a tranquil and picturesque setting beside the central pond. The garden also features a unique "J bench" where visitors can relax while gazing at the pond, an embodiment of the beloved singer.
Adjacent to the bench, a dedicated box showcases select lyrics from J-Hope's song, "Equal Sign." The establishment of this garden was made possible through generous donations from J-hope's fan club, which will be actively engaged in the garden's maintenance in collaboration with the Seoul metropolitan government for the next five years.
