K-Pop superstar BTS has created another very rare record that will be difficult to break for the time being at Korea's most representative pop music awards ceremony.

BTS won the grand prize with Anthology Album 'Proof' at "The 37th Golden Disc Awards with TikTok" held in Bangkok, Thailand on the 7th. This is the first record to win the grand prize in the album category for six consecutive years since 2018.

At the Golden Disc Awards ceremony, BTS once again proved itself to be the best K-Pop superstar by sweeping a total of four awards, including the Grand Prize, the Album Main Award, the TikTok Golden Disc Popularity Award, and the "Tai Fans Support with Baozi" won by member J-Hope.

The "Golden Disc Awards" is the oldest and most prestigious pop music awards in South Korea. The award began in 1986 and marks its 37th anniversary this year, and has greatly contributed to the development of K-Pop and the creation of a global K-Pop star.

J-hope, who attended the 37th Golden Disc Awards ceremony on behalf of the seven members, said, "We accept this award as a sign of support for the future of BTS, and we will receive it with great gratitude and humility."

Its member J-hope, who debuted his solo album "Jack in the Box" in July, separately grabbed the Thai Fans Support With Baoji award.

J-hope said, "While working on the album this year, I felt that each song was so precious. I thought it was happy that we and "ARMY" told each other's stories and enjoyed the moment. I think that's how the "Proof" album came out, which depicts a big future with these fans."

BTS has emerged as a world star who has topped both the Billboard single and album charts by building a solid fandom around the world, which debuted as a hip-hop idol in 2013.

BTS wrapped up the first chapter of its nine-year career in 2022 as its seven members unveiled plans to fulfill their mandatory military service in the coming years. Jin, its oldest member, began his active duty last month.

As a result, Newgins won four rookie awards last year, including the 2022 The Fact Music Awards, MMA 2022 and 2022 Asian Artist Awards.

Members of Newgins said, "We are so happy to receive a good award only once. We are very grateful to my agency, the members of Addor and the fans."
