BLACKPINK's "Shut Down" Music Video Surpasses 600 Million Views on YouTube

YG Entertainment announced that the music video for BLACKPINK's "Shut Down" has surpassed 600 million views on YouTube as of Friday. "Shut Down" is a prereleased track from the group's second full-length album, "Born Pink," which was released on September 16th last year.
This achievement marks BLACKPINK's 13th music video to reach over 600 million views, according to YG Entertainment. Notably, the group set a world record for female artists by collecting 90.4 million views on YouTube within the first 24 hours of "Shut Down" video's release in August. Furthermore, BLACKPINK became the fastest K-pop girl group to surpass 100 million views on YouTube, reaching the milestone in just 29 hours and 35 minutes after the video's release.
"Pink Venom" is a hip-hop genre song that features intense beats and incorporates sounds from traditional Korean instruments. The song has also achieved significant chart success, reaching No. 22 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main songs chart and the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.
