K-pop boy band ZB1, also known as ZEROBASEONE, has released their new album titled "Melting Point" only four months after their debut.
The group, composed of nine members, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Park Gun-wook, and Han Yu-jin, was formed through Mnet's 2023 audition program, "Boys Planet," where their creation as a group was determined by viewer votes.
In acknowledgment of the crucial role their fans have played in their journey, ZB1 members gathered at the YES 24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, for a press event to mark the album's release and convey their gratitude.
Seok expressed their deep appreciation for their official fandom, "Ze_Rose," highlighting the inspiration and unwavering support received from their fans. Ze_Rose's passion for the group is known to be exceptional, and it played a pivotal role in their debut success.
Their debut album, "Youth in the Shade," released in July, made history by selling 1 million copies on its release day. ZB1 became the first K-pop act to achieve double-million sales with their debut album, owing to their dedicated fanbase.
The overwhelming support from fans inspired their new message-filled album, "Melting Point."
Sung, the group's leader, explained the evolved message of their songs, emphasizing their commitment to growth and a tribute to their loyal fans.
The group remains positive and focused on their teamwork, displaying no signs of fatigue despite releasing their second album just four months after their debut.
Already considered K-pop super rookies, ZB1 is setting their sights on even greater goals, including earning more accolades and establishing themselves as a global mega-rookie.
Zhang Hao expressed their aspiration to work even harder to make their music a global mega-hit for more people to enjoy.
