First-ever worldwide search aims to discover young talent for upcoming K-pop act

SM Entertainment, a leading K-pop agency in South Korea, announced on Monday the commencement of its first-ever global audition to form a new girl group.
The audition, which began accepting applications on Saturday, will continue until June 22.
The audition is open to girls worldwide born between 2005 and 2011, with applications to be submitted online. The process includes both online and offline rounds, with finalists given the opportunity to debut as members of SM Entertainment's new girl group.
