Seoul Arts Center, South Korea's premier performing arts institute, is set to unveil two captivating series at the relatively unknown Inchoon Art Hall, a hidden gem within its facilities. With its cozy 100-seat capacity, Inchoon Art Hall promises an intimate setting that fosters a close connection between performers and the audience.

The first series, aptly named "The Next," is a platform dedicated to showcasing the next generation of Korean classical talent carefully selected by the Seoul Arts Center. With its launch in May, the series aims to introduce 10 rising young musicians who demonstrate extraordinary promise. As the second half of 2023 unfolds, audiences can look forward to a captivating lineup featuring percussionist Gong Sung-yeon, violinist Kim Jae-won, and pianist Choi Hyeong-rok in September. October will bring the talents of pianist Kim Joon-hyung and trumpeter Baek Do-young, while November will showcase pianist Lee Dong-ha. The year will culminate in December with pianists Park Jin-hyung and Jeon Se-yoon, alongside violist Yoon So-hee. Ticket prices for "The Next" are set at 30,000 won, offering an affordable opportunity to witness the rise of these exceptional artists.

In addition, the Seoul Arts Center has curated the Rachmaninoff Series, paying tribute to the legendary Russian composer on the 150th anniversary of his birth and the 80th anniversary of his passing. This remarkable series will present Rachmaninoff's timeless compositions through various arrangements, including duets, four-hand performances, preludes, and etudes. On July 7, the series will commence with Duo Harang, comprised of talented pianists Bae Jae-sung and Sun Youl. November and December will witness the collaboration of Rachmaninoff's music with four award-winning pianists, namely Yoon A-in on November 11, Kim Su-yeon on November 28, and Kim Do-hyun and Lee Hyuck on December 28. Delving into the depths of Rachmaninoff's artistry, this series promises an unforgettable experience for classical music enthusiasts. Tickets for the "Rachmaninoff Series" are priced at 50,000 won, reflecting the caliber of the performances to be expected.

CEO Chang Hyoung-joon expressed the Seoul Arts Center's commitment to nurturing young musicians and providing them with invaluable stage experience. He emphasized that the audience's presence during these transformative moments contributes to the musicians' journey toward becoming top-tier artists. With a combination of talent, dedication, and unwavering support, the Seoul Arts Center continues to enrich the cultural landscape, allowing audiences to witness the emergence of extraordinary classical talents.
