English Rock Icon and Band to Grace Seoul's Stage for the First Time in Four Years

Renowned English rock luminary Noel Gallagher and his ensemble have extended their concert itinerary, as confirmed by concert organizer Bonboo Entertainment on Thursday.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is set to enrapture audiences on both November 27 and 28 at the Jamsil Area in southern Seoul. Notably, tickets for the initial concert date on November 28 have been swiftly claimed, underscoring the fervor of Gallagher's Korean fanbase. The newly announced performance on November 27 will see its ticket sales commence on Interpark, the official ticket platform, come Tuesday.

These forthcoming November concerts herald a significant milestone for Gallagher and his band, marking their return to the Korean stage after an interval of four and a half years. Gallagher's inaugural performance in Korea dates back to 2004, during his tenure with the iconic band Oasis.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic participation of Korean concertgoers, Gallagher shared his sentiments on Twitter, expressing, "We added a concert to see you sing," an allusion to the local practice of audiences singing along with performers.

Prospective attendees can secure their seats for the additional concert starting August 22 through Interpark Ticket. Ticket prices span from 99,000 won ($77) to 143,000 won for floor seating, and 165,000 won for premium-tier positions.

Noel Gallagher garners acclaim for his influential contributions to the English alternative rock sphere, particularly his pivotal role in the creation of the iconic band Oasis, which he co-founded alongside his brother, Liam Gallagher. Oasis's discography includes a collection of critically acclaimed and chart-topping albums, featuring beloved tracks such as "Wonderwall," featured on the album "(What's The Story) Morning Glory" (1995), and "Live Forever," a standout from "Definitely Maybe" (1994).
