La Galerie Rouge is presenting "Regards au Coeur du Panama" (Views from the Heart of Panama), marking the first solo exhibition in France by renowned Panamanian photographer Sandra Eleta. The exhibition showcases the artist's lifelong dedication to documenting and illuminating her homeland through photography.

Sandra Eleta has devoted her entire career to capturing the essence of Panama, creating a comprehensive visual chronicle spanning from the 1970s to the present day. Her work represents decades of intimate observation and emotional investment in her country's people, culture, and landscapes. Through her lens, she has created a unique perspective on Panamanian life that transcends mere documentation.

Reflecting on her artistic mission, Eleta writes: "The goal of any creative adventure is to communicate and to share. My work is the result of my life experiences; it has nothing to do with a study of society or any form of complacency. It probably includes a sociological approach, but my emotional investment for Portobelo is so strong that all I can say about it is that only my heart governs its law." This deeply personal statement reveals the artist's profound connection to her subject matter, particularly her attachment to Portobelo, a historic Caribbean port town on Panama's coast.

The exhibition "Sandra Eleta: Regards au Coeur du Panama" will run until December 6, 2025, providing visitors with an extended opportunity to experience this significant retrospective. La Galerie Rouge, located at 3 rue du Pont Louis-Philippe in Paris's 4th arrondissement, will showcase Eleta's powerful imagery that bridges documentary photography with deeply personal artistic expression.

The gallery is open from 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday through Saturday, and can be contacted at 01 42 77 38 24. More information is available at https://lagalerierouge.paris/. This exhibition represents a rare opportunity for French audiences to discover the work of one of Latin America's most significant contemporary photographers.
