Dynamic Duo’s latest track, “Pit-a-Pa” featuring pH-1 and JUNNY, recently ranked 12th on the “Commercial Pop” chart of the respected UK music industry magazine, Music Week, as reported by Amoeba Culture on November 4. Music Week, with over 50 years of history, is renowned for its credible industry insights, collaborating with UK charts to provide reliable data and trends. The magazine also holds significant sway in the music world through awards like the Music Week Awards and Women in Music Awards.
Released as the title track of Dynamic Duo’s 10th album, 2 Kids On The Block, in March, “Pit-a-Pa” creatively reflects the duo’s ambition for global reach through lighthearted themes like hamburgers, pizza, tacos, and pasta. Known for their vibrant energy, witty lyrics, and refreshing sound, Dynamic Duo continues to receive praise from listeners worldwide.
Now, eight months post-release, “Pit-a-Pa” has made a surprise entry into Music Week’s chart, further cementing Dynamic Duo’s reputation in the global hip-hop scene. Last year, their 2014 track “AEAO” made an impressive return on international charts, while “Smoke” earned a place in Billboard’s 25 Best K-POP Songs of 2023 and topped domestic music charts.
Dynamic Duo also embarked on their first European tour, LIGHT IT UP, in September, drawing enthusiastic audiences in Spain, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK. The tour, held in collaboration with European concert organizer Frontrow, saw “Pit-a-Pa” featured in local DJ sets, club playlists, and radio stations across Europe, showing its widespread appeal.
In a statement, Dynamic Duo expressed gratitude, saying, “We’re thrilled to see ‘Pit-a-Pa’ resonate so well in Europe and will keep working hard to share the charm of K-hip-hop with the world.”
As they celebrate their 20th debut anniversary, Dynamic Duo will also be holding special year-end concerts titled See You Often, Long, on December 6, 7, and 8 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park, and on December 21 at the BEXCO Auditorium in Busan.
