The exhibition organized by Il-woo Lee, the artistic director, and the audience can appreciate a variety of photographic works on the human body taken by Isabelle, who introduced the work to Korea for the first time at the 2023 Daegu Photo Biennale.
Through the exhibition, the audience will have experience of looking at the way we are around us, not beint identified or considered as other objects by someone.
Isabelle photographs the bodies of subject with rare diseases such as various body types and vitiligo as they are, talks about how physical cognition works in consciouness, and asks the question, 'What do we think through our body?'
The exhibition will be held at SPACE22 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, until Jan. 5 next year.
