Among the group's extensive discography, the most streamed song is "How You Like That," from their first studio album "The Album." Released in June 2020 prior to the album's official launch, the track reached 1 billion streams in March 2023. This achievement marked the first time a K-pop girl group achieved this feat, and the third for any female group globally.
Blackpink's dominance in the streaming world is further evidenced by their Guinness World Record for being the most-streamed female band on Spotify, a title they secured last year by surpassing Little Mix. To commemorate Blackpink's eighth debut anniversary, Spotify announced the creation of a special playlist celebrating the group's achievements.
In celebration of this landmark, Blackpink will host an autograph session in Seoul on Thursday. Additionally, the group will attend the premiere of their tour film the following day, walking down a "pink" carpet to mark the occasion. This series of events underscores Blackpink's continued influence and success in the global music industry.
