The decision was made after Joy expressed feeling under the weather and was advised by a doctor to take a rest to recover.

In the statement, SM Entertainment explained that Joy's health is the top priority, and they ask fans to understand the situation. This news comes shortly after Red Velvet's successful standalone concert in Seoul earlier this month, and a live performance in Singapore last week. The group had planned to tour nine more cities from May, including Yokohama, Manila, Bangkok, Paris, Berlin, and London.

Joy's absence will be felt in various areas, including the television show "Animal Farm," which she was scheduled to shoot on Wednesday. However, fans have been supportive of her decision to prioritize her health and have been sending messages of love and encouragement.
