Steven Yeun, the acclaimed Korean-American actor renowned for his roles in "Burning" and "Minari," has garnered an Emmy nomination for Best Actor in a Limited Series. The recognition comes as part of the announcement by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, where the popular comedy-drama series "Beef" received a total of 13 nominations.

"Beef," which premiered on Netflix, has been praised for its exceptional writing and direction, thanks to the talent of Korean-born screenwriter and director Lee Sung-jin. Sung-jin's work on the show has garnered him two personal nominations for Best Writing and Directing, in addition to the coveted nomination for Best Limited Series.

Yeun's nomination places him alongside a stellar group of actors contending for the top honor. Taron Egerton, known for his remarkable performance in "Black Bird," Evan Peters portraying Dahmer, Daniel Radcliffe in "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story," Michael Shannon in "George & Tammy," and Kumail Nanjiani starring in "Welcome to Chippendales" are all nominees vying for the title of Best Actor in a Limited Series.

Joseph Lee and Young Mazino, two other talented Korean-American actors who showcased their skills in "Beef" alongside Yeun, have each earned separate nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series. Their remarkable performances have been lauded by critics and audiences alike.

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 18 at the illustrious Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. As anticipation builds, all eyes will be on Yeun and his fellow nominees as they compete for television's most prestigious accolades.
