유명한 미술작품이 영화에 나타나는 경우를 자주 볼 수 있는데요. 오늘은 그 중에도 호러영화 속에서 미술작품을 오마주 한 장면 다섯가지를 보여 드리겠습니다.
It is common to see famous artworks appearing in movies.
Today I will show you five scenes that pay homage to works of art in horror movies.
가장 유명한 첫 번째는 웨스 크레이븐 감독의 스크림 인데요
명화를 오마주 한 영화 가운데 이 영화는 빼놓을 수 없죠.
마치 비명소리가 들리는 것 같은 뭉크의 <절규>를 오마주 한 영화입니다.
(뭉크의) 절규는 살인마 고스트 페이스의 가면으로 영화<스크림>에 등장했습니다.
그리고 <나홀로 집에>의 주인공인 케빈이 같은 표정을 짓기도 했습니다
The first and most famous is director Wes Craven's
This movie must be included among those that pay homage to well-known paintings.
It is a film that pays homage to Munch's which resembles a “scream”
In the movie , The Scream (from Munch) was a mask worn by the killer Ghost Face.
And the main character of "Home Alone" Kevin, also made this face.
두 번째는 짐 셔먼 감독의 록키 호러 픽쳐 쇼 입니다
지금 보시는 사진은 영화 속에서 친구의 결혼식에 참석한 자넷과 브래드가 노래를 부르면서 결혼을 약속합니다. 그런데 의문의 남녀가 둘 사이에 코러스를 넣기 시작하죠. 그들은 삼지창을 든 채 성당 문을 지키고 서 있습니다. 눈치 채셨나요? 바로 그랜트우드의 <아메리칸 고딕> 을 오마주 한 것입니다.
Second is director Jim Sharman’s < rocky horror picture show >
In the picture you see now, Janet and Brad, who attended a friend's wedding in the movie, sing a song and promise to get married. But a strange man and woman start to put up a chorus between them. They stand guarding the church door with tridents in their hands.
Did you notice? Yes, It’s a homage to Grantwood's .
세 번째는 알프레드 히치콕 감독의 영화 <싸이코> 입니다.
에드워드 호퍼에게 영향을 받았다고 직접 언급하기도 했는데요
감독의 대표작인 <싸이코>에서 베이츠 모텔의 운영자 노먼 베이츠가 살고 있는 집은
에드워드 호퍼의 철로위의 집을 그대로 가져 온 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
Third one is director Alfred Hitchcock’s movie
He even mentioned that he was influenced by Edward Hopper.
In the director's masterpiece you can see that motel proprietor Norman Bates’s house looks almost same as Edward hopper’s
네 번째는 한국감독 김성호의 <거울속으로> 라는 영화인데요
거울 안에 있는 내가 다른 곳을 응시하는 장면이 섬뜩합니다.
그는 르네 마그리트의 금지된 재현 이라는 작품속에서 영감을 받은 거라고 합니다.
Forth one is Korean director Kim Sungho’s
The scene where I am in the mirror staring at somewhere else looks creepy.
He mentioned that René Magritte's painting have inspired him.
다섯번 째 작품은 조금 충격적일 수 있습니다.
샘 래이비의 <드래그 미 투 헬>이라는 영화인데요.
악마에게 시달리던 주인공 크리스틴은 남자친구 부모님과 식사를 하던 중 눈알 하나가 박혀있는 케이크 조각을 보고 화들짝 놀랍니다.
그리고 포크로 눈을 찔러버리는데요.
이는 르네 마그리드의 <초상화>라는 작품을 오마주 한 것입니다.
햄 스테이크 위 눈 하나가 응시하고 있고 옆에 포크와 나이프까지 섬뜩한 그림입니다.
The fifth piece can be a little terrifying
It’s director Sam Raimi’s
The main character Christine was tormented by a demon, and when she was having dinner with her boyfriend’s parents, she was terrified to see a piece of cake with an eyeball in it.
And she stabbed the eyeball with folk.
It’s a homage to René Magritte’s
An eye on the ham steak is staring over, and the fork and knife next to it are eerie.
