Artist 'Cha Han-byul' is a deer artist. Starting with his first solo exhibition in 2016, he only drew pictures.
Cha has created a painting of a deer that represents his childhood anxiety and escape, caused by the absence of his father and the hardships of life. He believes that looking at the painting allows him to stimulate his deeply hidden self-consciousness by seeing himself projected in the deer's pupils. Despite being worried about various materials and compositions as he gets older, he finds that drawing the deer has a positive function of purifying his mind.

Cha also nurtures students through emotional art classes and has influenced many through his art and teaching. He is grateful for the touching stories shared with him. Cha wonders if the deer was the result of his subconscious reaction to his mother's call to express the phases of the times through his art.
