Chang Ucchin Museum of Art opened in 2014 in Yangju City, to tribute the achievements and spirit of Chang Ucchin, one of the representative modern artist in Korea. He drew many simple and Korean elements such as magpies, cows, the sun and children. People feel pleasant and warm emotions when they appreciate his works because Chang reflected his love of family through his paintings.

Chang Ucchin Museum of Art was designed by Architect Chae-Pereira  with the motif of of Chang (Painting of tiger and magpie) and the concept of  house. This unique museum was awarded Kim Swoo Geun Architecture Prize in 2014 and was selected by BBC’s The eight greatest new museums in 2014. The gallery did well landscaping work, so even those who are not interest in artworks can enjoy the place.

On the second floor of the museum, a permanent exhibition, 'The Way of Filling' is running until August 2023.
