BTS member Jungkook has achieved an extraordinary milestone as his solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" reigns supreme at the pinnacle of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The US music publication's latest weekly chart data unveiled Jungkook's chart-topping success, marking the second time a South Korean solo singer has claimed the No. 1 spot, following in the footsteps of his bandmate Jimin, who achieved this feat with "Like Crazy" in April.

"Seven" made history as the 68th song in Billboard's records to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. Billboard's Hot 100 is a comprehensive compilation of the week's most popular songs in the US, ranking based on factors such as streaming numbers, radio airplay, digital downloads, and physical singles sales. Jungkook's solo masterpiece swiftly ascended to the top position with a staggering 21.9 million streams, 153,000 singles sales, and 6.4 million airplays recorded in just the first seven days since its release on July 14.

With this extraordinary achievement, BTS adds another illustrious feather to their cap, becoming the ninth group in music history to boast not just one, but more than two members who have led the Hot 100 chart. The phenomenal boy band has already secured six No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 with tracks like "Dynamite," "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat) - BTS Remix," "Life Goes On," "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and "My Universe."

Jungkook's triumph extends far beyond Billboard's Hot 100, as "Seven" captivated audiences across the globe with its record-breaking feats. Upon its release, the song surged to the No. 1 position on Spotify's daily top song global chart, marking a momentous milestone as the first K-pop solo track to achieve this feat. Holding onto its top spot for three consecutive days, the song continued to bask in its well-deserved glory.

On the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100, "Seven" achieved a remarkable No. 3 position, securing the second-highest spot ever reached by a Korean solo singer since Psy's iconic "Gangnam Style" dominated the chart in 2012.

Further cementing Jungkook's global impact, the accompanying music video for "Seven" garnered an astounding 100 million views on YouTube, a testament to the artist's overwhelming popularity and reach.

As Jungkook's star continues to ascend, his chart-topping achievement reinforces BTS's status as a trailblazing group that continues to dominate the global music landscape. With "Seven," Jungkook has proven his prowess as a solo artist, captivating hearts and making history with each new record set.
