The highly anticipated Weverse Con Festival is set to return for its third year, promising an even more dynamic experience with the addition of an outdoor stage. On February 20, global fan platform Weverse officially announced that the 2025 Weverse Con Festival will take place from May 31 to June 1 at the Inspire Resort on Yeongjong Island, Incheon.
Known for its genre-defying performances and intergenerational artist lineups, Weverse Con Festival has grown into one of South Korea’s most celebrated music events. Last year, the festival drew over 40,000 fans and featured 24 domestic and international artists, including powerhouse acts like SEVENTEEN and Japanese sensation YOASOBI. Building on this momentum, the 2025 edition aims to further elevate the festival experience with enhanced stage designs and diverse programming.
This year’s festival introduces Weverse Park, an outdoor stage that will offer fans the full festival atmosphere, complete with live band performances and evening shows designed to capture the energy of an open-air concert. Weverse Park will feature a carefully curated lineup of artists that align with the vibrant outdoor festival vibe, including performers who are not currently part of the Weverse platform, expanding the festival’s reach and diversity.
Complementing Weverse Park is the signature indoor experience, Weverse Con, which will continue to offer concert-level performances in a more controlled environment. Designed for fans who prefer the intensity and intimacy of an indoor venue, Weverse Con promises high-production value stages that rival the scale of solo concerts.
One of the festival’s most unique features, the Tribute Stage, will also return, paying homage to legendary artists who have left a lasting impact on the music industry. In 2023, the stage celebrated Uhm Jung Hwa, followed by Park Jin Young in 2024. Fans are now speculating on who will take the spotlight this year, eagerly awaiting the reveal of the next artist to be honored with a tribute performance.
Weverse Con Festival has gained a reputation for its ability to blend mainstream hits with genre-bending collaborations, offering something for every kind of music fan. With its hybrid format of indoor and outdoor stages, the festival not only amplifies its musical diversity but also enhances the overall fan experience.
The festival’s artist lineup will be revealed gradually starting in March, with organizers promising a mix of global superstars, K-pop icons, and indie favorites. Early ticket sales are expected to see high demand, particularly given the expanded programming and the inclusion of artists beyond the Weverse platform.
As Weverse Con Festival 2025 prepares to bring together fans from around the world, the addition of the outdoor stage and an eclectic lineup positions the event as a major highlight in this year’s music calendar. With its commitment to genre diversity, high-energy performances, and immersive fan experiences, Weverse Con Festival continues to set new standards for what a global music festival can be.
