Kim's painting gives a calm, clear, and deep feeling by utilizing the margin of the work. She painted the series of the moon as a silent presence with her during difficult times. In addition, in the series of the Heart Bowl, there is a desire to remember the happy moment of drinking tea with her family. Finally, the scenery series contains her pleasant imagination and intimate expression of space and objects.
The artist said, "It was thanks to the shadow of life that I was able to start working on" and added, "I hope that shadows and light will permeate my paintings.".
