Beta Testing for Highly Anticipated Mobile RPG Begins April 24

Krafton, the game publisher behind Dark and Darker Mobile, has announced a closed beta test for the much-anticipated role-playing game in Korea. The beta test, scheduled to take place from April 24 to 28, will offer players an exclusive opportunity to experience the game before its official release later this year. Access to the beta test will be limited to Android devices.

Prior to the beta test, Krafton is hosting an event for players to participate in a survey, evaluating their tendencies as explorers. Participants who complete the survey and agree to share personal information will receive in-game currency as a reward. This event will run until April 21.

In addition to the beta test announcement, Krafton unveiled a teaser trailer for Dark and Darker Mobile on its official YouTube channel. The trailer provides a glimpse into the game's core gameplay, which revolves around dungeon escape, within a medieval low-fantasy universe characterized by a dark atmosphere.Krafton has also established online community channels on platforms such as YouTube, Discord, and Naver Game Lounge, enhancing communication and engagement with players. Developed by Krafton's Bluehole Studio, Dark and Darker Mobile is a mobile adaptation of the massively multiplayer online (MMO) game originally developed by Ironmace.

While Krafton's mobile adaptation has received positive reviews for its smooth gameplay and user-friendly interface since its debut at the G-star 2023 game festival, the original MMO game is currently involved in a legal dispute between Ironmace and another major game publisher, Nexon.
