Game publisher NHN has entered the subculture games genre through a global publishing agreement with Ring Games for their upcoming title, Stella Fantasy, as announced on Tuesday.
The term "subculture games" denotes titles characterized by Japanese anime-style characters.

Stella Fantasy offers players the opportunity to select from 12 anime-inspired characters for battling monsters and acquiring new characters during their in-game quests. Noteworthy features include the ability to switch characters seamlessly in the midst of battle, enabling the utilization of diverse skills, fighting techniques, and weapons. The game also incorporates competitive and non-combat elements, providing players with opportunities to gain from non-fungible tokens.
Ring Games, established in 2019, is founded by game developers who previously achieved success with the mobile RPG King's Raid.
Kim Sang-ho, NHN's Head of Gaming Business, expressed confidence in the global launch and service success of Stella Fantasy. He highlighted NHN's extensive publishing experience and game service expertise, combined with the unique gameplay offered by the upcoming RPG.
