Released on February 3, the seven-track EP, featuring the title song "Alpha," showcases the collaborative efforts of all six band members, who actively participated in composing and writing lyrics for the music, as confirmed by their agency.

Boy Story made its debut in 2017 with the single "How Old R U," marking a collaborative venture between JYP Entertainment and Chinese agency Tencent Music Entertainment. The band, comprising members Hanyu, Zihao, Xinlong, Zeyu, Ming Rui, and Shuyang, has consistently contributed to the music scene with its creative and collaborative approach.

Notably, Boy Story took part in the performance of "Lasting Legacy" (2023), the official anthem for COP28, the UN Climate Change Conference held in Dubai in December of the previous year. Looking ahead, the band is set to perform at the "Saranghaeyo Indonesia 2024" concert scheduled for May at the Beach City International Stadium in Jakarta.
