"Regret of the Times" is recognized as a K-pop classic, characterized by its alternative rock style, energetic band sounds, and anti-establishment lyrics. Aespa is expected to infuse the single with its distinctive and powerful vocal style, according to statements from the group's agency.
This venture follows the success of the inaugural project within the "Remastering Project," which featured a remake of H.O.T's debut single, "Age of Violence," by the legendary K-pop boy group. The collaborative effort seeks to introduce these timeless classics to a new audience while honoring the original essence of the songs.
