Monet, Picasso, and other artists from the Belle Epoque are shown at MMCA Gwacheon. Donated works by the late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee Which has 7 paintings by Joan Miro and 90 pieces of ceramics by Pablo Picasso. The works of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Salvador Dali, Paul Gauguin, Marc Chagall, and Camille Pissarro are also on display. These artists led the Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism movements in the 19th and 20th centuries.

This exhibition focuses on different relationships that the eight masters had in Paris, and it is set up in a way that makes it easy to understand their works.

The eight featured artists were born in different countries and spoke different languages, but they all spent time in Paris during the Belle Epoque, and they supported each other to become a masters of Western contemporary art in the 20th century.
