The police have confirmed that a woman in her 20s, accused of stalking BTS member V, has had her case transferred to the prosecution. The charges include violations of the Anti-Stalking Act and trespassing, stemming from an incident on October 26.

Reportedly, the woman waited in front of V's residence, followed him into the apartment parking lot, and approached him in the elevator. During the encounter, she initiated a conversation with V, expressing her intention to marry him, before promptly leaving the scene. Her identity was established through on-site security reports and personal information obtained during a previous marriage declaration. This marks a recurrence of her alleged stalking behavior towards V.
V's agency, Big Hit Music, emphasized a zero-tolerance policy regarding stalking crimes that compromise the artist's privacy and safety. In response to the incident, V reassured fans on the Weverse platform, stating, "I'm fine, and everything is okay. Don't worry about it."
Concerns over invasive 'Sasaeng fans' who invade the privacy of BTS members have been expressed previously. In August, BTS member Jungkook warned against stalking on Weverse, addressing the issue of fans sending food to his house and stressing that such actions would be met with consequences, including taking legal action based on order numbers. He also acknowledged the accessibility of his home address online, urging fans to refrain from sharing such information.
